The Deep Sea Challenger

Mr Edgerley showed us the Hollywood director, James Cameron who went down to the Mariana Trench, the deepest point of the Earth's oceans. Mr Edgerley did two experiments to show us what water pressure could do. We had to wrote an explanation on the word 'displacement'.

  1. It was interesting learning that Mr James Cameron went down to the bottom of the Mariana Trench and survived. I was really surprised! I bet he was scared because of the water preassure and how dark it is down there! I can't wait to find out who else made it to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

  2. I was very interested in the deepest part of the ocean (Mariana trench).The trip down took about two hours and thirty six minutes, Wow!I don't think I could have stayed in the pod for that long! Liwen

  3. WOW!!! It was so amazing how James Cameron went down to the Mariana Trench I thought it was very brave of him to do that.
    I would never survive that long i think!
    I thought it is a very good thing to study about.
    I can't wait to study more about James Cameron!

  4. Mr James Cameron is so brave for going to the Mariana Trench. I would be so extremly scared. James Cameron is the second person to survive. I would scream so much.
    I can't wait to learn more about The Deep Blue.
