We are learning how to write an Information Report this week. We know an Information Report needs to have:

Heading

Opening Statement

Description (sub-headings)

Concluding Statement

Glossary 

We have been working together to write an Information Report about the big blue whale.
Step 1)
Ms Lin read the "Big Blue Whale" book to us.

Step 2)
We identified the key words and  key information from the story.

Step 3) 
We sorted the information into different categories- appearance, diet, life cycle and interesting facts.

Step 4)
We wrote the information report together using the correct structure.
