term 3 week 3

This week has been a busy week because we have been doing lots of things.  We met Ms Hukes new baby.  His name is Joseph, but we will call him Joe for short.  He is only 3 weeks old and he is funny because when he sleeps he makes his hands into fists and he looks like a muscleman!  He is so cute :-)
This is our first chance this term to come to the computer suite because we have been doing lots of Gymnastics instead.  We learned how to make a bridge, do a handstand against a wall, and we learned to roll in different ways such as the 'barrel' roll.  We also learned how to do forward and backward rolls and to balance on the beam.  It was super fun!
We are now doing lots of training for our big cross country run.  Its great to see everyone in our class trying so hard (but it helps to wear proper running shoes if we own some).
Next week will be great fun too because on Thursday we will be competing in our own school Olympics!  We are supporting Poland and Bermuda, we hope to win and are all going to try our personal best!
