Author Visit

We had Melinda Szymanik visiting us yesterday. She is a talented author who wrote the book "Were- Nana" which was about a girl called Stella Rosa and her annoying brother Simon. 

Melinda went to university to study Zoology, then English. She loves books and that is what inspired her to be an author. Melinda was telling us how important it is to re-read and edit your work again and again to make sure it's perfect. She also told us good writing takes time and we should never rush our writing.
