Gameloft

On Wednesday, Room 16 went to visit Gameloft. There are a lot of secrets we cannot share with you, but there are also a lot of cool things that we can.

Don, Beatrice's dad, Alvin and Hannah hosted us. Don talked about different ways to communicate. For example, music is specially chosen to create a different atmosphere for each game. Another example is that the "good guys" were created by using warm colours and the "bad guys" were drawn by using cold colours.

Alvin is very good at maths and physics. He taught us about calculating angles when making games. We also got to create paper planes and try out a fun game.

We learnt that you need a lot of communication skills to be a game developer. You will need to respect and trust other people's ideas when you have a different idea.

It was an awesome trip!
